American Photo. 10 Best Wedding Photographers. 2013

KJ5A4679-EditKJ5A4673-EditKJ5A4672-EditKJ5A4669-EditI get to do what I love for work. Up until I found photography, I never put much effort into anything. Not many things in my life came easy to me, I think it’s been my stubbornness- not ever doing things I didn’t want to do. When I get a camera in my hand and I get to work with creatives and make things, I come to life. I excel at this because I absolutely love it- and it comes natural. This career is a ton of work, but I can outwork anyone at it because I have the deepest passion for what I do.
-
I promise I won’t rest here- with this incredible recognition.
-
I have to give my clients credit for allowing me to be free & creative. Without them, I’d be just a guy, with a camera.
-
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My friends over at VSCO have been hard at work developing the new VSCO FILM, FILM PACK 03. Since last week, I’ve gotten a chance to play around with the presets. I found that they react so different in varied lighting situations. Above, I pulled images from a shoot with full sun, sun breaks, overcast light, & total shade- to give a good idea of what to expect from the new Film Pack.
-
Presets used.
-
Polaroid 665 HC
Polaroid 669 COLD
Fuji FB 100
Fuji FP 100 COOL ++
PX 100 UV+ WARM++
Polaroid 699 ++
-
The only customization I made to any of the above looks, was I desaturate the toned B&W looks.
-
For your comparison- Here is Chris & Nate’s portraits I processed with Photoshop more than 1.5 years ago.
-
I see myself really enjoying these for personal work.
-
I am happy to keep a dilague going in the comments area.

Happy Birthday VSCO, VSCO Keys, And A 15% Discount.

By Sean Flanigan

When VSCO Keys came out I was really excited to start using it. My workflow had already been cut in half with the arrival of VSCO Film last November.
-
What the Keys have done for me is speed up an already snappy workflow. The keys took some getting used to. It also took a minute to customize them to my specific needs. Once I dialed it all in, I’ve been off to the races- seriously blazing through jobs.
-
This time last year, a wedding took me two full days to process- that’s 16 plus hours behind the computer. This November, it’s more like 3-4 hours for a job. I feel like I’ve gotten my life back.
-
If you aren’t using VSCO Film, I urge you to give it a try. If you are using VSCO Film, I suggest tyring out the Keys for free to see how you can speed up your workflow even more.
-
Lastly, Happy Birthday to Visual Supply Co. and all of my friends at the company. You all are putting your heart and soul into VSCO and it shows. Thank you for making my professional life easier.
-
Visual Supply Co. is offering from November 15th to November 25th, a Gift Code for 15% off any purchases from their store. Simply use the code “OneYear15” when checking out in the store.
